These Terms of Service govern your use of https://hcplumbing.com and participation in the Harry Clark Plumbing & Heating SMS text messaging program.

“Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Harry Clark Plumbing & Heating, located at 3026 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94611.

1. Website Use

You may use this website to learn about our services, request information, and contact our company. You agree to use the website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information, or transmit harmful content.

Submitting a website form, sending a text message, or requesting an estimate does not confirm an appointment or create a contract for work. Appointments are subject to confirmation by our staff.

The scope of work, pricing, payment terms, cancellations, and applicable warranties are governed by the estimate, work authorization, or service agreement provided for your project. These website terms do not replace or modify those agreements.

3. SMS Text Messaging Terms

Program Description

Harry Clark Plumbing & Heating offers text messaging for customer communications, including responses to inquiries, appointment scheduling and reminders, technician arrival updates, and information about requested or ongoing services.

Consent to Receive Messages

When you separately opt in to our SMS program, you authorize Harry Clark Plumbing & Heating to send messages to the mobile number you provide for the purposes disclosed when you enroll. Messages may be sent using automated technology.

Participation is voluntary. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Visiting our website, accepting these Terms, or providing a phone number alone does not constitute consent to recurring text messages.

Customer service SMS consent does not authorize promotional messages. If we offer promotional text messages, we will obtain separate consent as required by applicable law.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s rates and terms govern any charges associated with sending or receiving messages.

Opting Out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message you receive from us. You may receive one final text confirming your opt-out. After that, we will stop sending messages through the program unless you opt in again.

You may also request that we stop texting you by calling (510) 444-1776 or emailing karen@hcplumbing.com. We honor other clear requests to stop text messages as required by applicable law.

Opting out of text messages does not cancel an existing service appointment or agreement. Please contact our office directly for scheduling changes.

Mobile Numbers and Message Delivery

You must be the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you provide. Please notify us if you change or relinquish that number.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with these folks. My AC mini-split wasn't working so I called Moore Mechanical to fix it as they had installed it. They quoted me $3800 to fix it which chatgpt said was outright criminal. My friend referred me to Harry Clark and they did the job for less that $500. They are efficient, responsive and above all not out to gauge you. Bravo.

One of the few that offers emergency service on the weekend - pricey but well worth it after a major flood from a burst supply line. One of the co-owners came within a few hours and did a follow up on the next business day.

I've been using Harry Clark Plumbing on and off for over 10 years. We have a restaurant on Broadway, which is right up the street from Harry Clark. Our water heater rusted out on us, and we had to shut down on a Friday. For restaurants, that's no bueno! I drove to Harry Clark in the Morning and Brad (one of the owners) was there working. I explained my situation, and he jumped on the project immediately. Our water heater is big and expensive, and is mounted 4 feet up on the wall and into the ceiling. He came over with his dad and had a new one up and running in 5 hours! This was the fastest and cleanest install I've seen. I'm still impressed with how they managed to remove and install a 400# water heater halfway into the ceiling in just 5 hours. I never write reviews, but this deserves a shout-out. It's nice to know we still have businesses that care bout what they do.

Too bad I can't give six stars...they are that good. On Mon AM the Harry Clark dispatcher called me in response to my Saturday plea for help via their website. It was a weekend then; so they were closed. But they contacted me first thing that Mon. At 1215 that same Monday, a Harry Clark rep knocked on my door and went off to find out why my hot water heater was no longer heating my water. Took him, maybe, five minutes to find that the computer that controls the heater was malfunctioning ...sending all sorts of error data. The heater needed replacing. I opted to replace it with the same type I already had, but upgraded. I also opted to replace the 24/7 recycle pump with one that would be on only from 7AM to 9PM. That reduced the amount of gas burned during the low usage hours. About two hours later, four Harry Clark trucks and a team of plumbers were removing the old heater and installing the new one and its recycle pump. In about four hours the new hot water heater and pump were up and running. In sum, from when I got the first call that AM until the Harry Clark crew packed up and left me with a heater replacement was about eight hours. In addition to being extraordinarily fast and efficient, they were always communicating with me. Kevin, the job foreman, constantly kept me apprised of what they were doing and what came next. These guys are good...highly recommend them. NOTE: they don't do weekends; so they're not good for emergency repairs over the weekends.
